Enigma

Her laughter is like the jubilant chitter,
of a cuckoo bird you’d hear on a cold winter morning.

For she has those starry eyes more splendid than
the first ray of sunshine that makes dewdrops shine like pearls,

For she is someone  who does not believe
that everything is either white or black;
she sees colors, colors that people thought ceased to exist.

But more importantly what makes her HER
is that she is the mosaic of subtle insecurities,
for even her chaos is jocular.

She is an unflattering bliss,
she is like this classic symphony
that brings back the remnants of past.

Her thoughts are not mediocre and scripted,
they are wildfire, wildfire that can burn your being
through a simple nonchalant touch.

She is the colors that drench your being in
the pools of  tranquility leaving you wanting for more.
And the thing about her is that
she is completely ignorant of everything said above
for she thinks that she’s normal.

But what she doesn’t know is that
she is born out of star-dust interlaced with solace
for she was born so that the world could witness
what the right amount of  light looks like
in a room filled of darkness.

    1. the image is made by a very good friend of mine specially for this post 😀 Yes she does have a personality that people tend to love and her being that free spirited is what makes her HER, they say she is the poetry she writes but doesn’t know it’s her 😀 *i don’t know if that makes sense or not* 😛
      glad you liked it 😀

  1. With eyes more splendid than shining dew drops, I am sure I would have fallen for them. Each trait you talked about so beautifully has a sense of strength and simplicity with it. And this makes her perfect! She would do wonders once she realizes how good she is 🙂

  2. She is the unassuming force of nature… the composite of the immense, natural forces that created her. Thank you for introducing her to us.

Your words create images… your friend’s drawn image enhances your already powerful words. You are both very talented.

PS… I’m now following your blog and thank you for following mine. I welcome you to my small section of the WWW… and invite you to visit whenever time permits.
